PRESENTER: Robin Best, R.N.
PILOT/TRAINING OBJECTIVE
Administering the DDCAT will provide your organization with an objective evaluation of your programs’
strengths and weaknesses. The process is collaborative and constructive. The ADP will also provide a
formal written description of your program and a comparative DDCAT assessment. Participating Programs
meeting the DDCAT criteria for dual diagnosis capability will receive certification of their status from the
ADP. Additionally, pilot participants will receive a toolkit manual that contains practical and concrete
examples of how to enhance treatment services, including actual screening measures, program forms and
other resources that may be readily implemented. The ADP will also provide on-going technical assistance, training and clinical consultations.
